CardioSecur, a product of the German company Personal MedSystems GmbH, is a mobile electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) system for heart monitoring.

Key Features and Products:

  • Primary Function: To record, analyze, and provide feedback on the heart’s electrical activity.
  • Core Technology: It uses an ultra-light cable and only four electrodes placed on the upper body to record a clinical-quality, multi-lead ECG.
  • Device Integration: The cable connects to a user’s own smartphone or tablet (primarily iOS, with some Android compatibility), which runs the proprietary CardioSecur App for real-time viewing, analysis, and data storage.
  • Advanced Analysis: It is notable for its ability to generate an ECG with up to 22 leads (in the professional version) using only four electrodes. This offers a nearly 360° view of the heart and enables the diagnosis of complex arrhythmias and blood circulation disturbances, including the detection of heart attacks (myocardial infarctions) affecting the anterior, lateral, and posterior walls of the heart.
